Albany Speedway is looking forward to hosting the Wingless Sprints on the Saturday 28 November 2015. The race agreement has been signed by both clubs and now we can give you the format for the meeting and a bit more important information.
Track Opening Time: The track gates will open at 2:00PM
Tow money: $150 per car this will be paid within 2 weeks after the race meeting.
Tickets: 3 tickets per car, driver and 2 crew.
Drivers Meeting: Drivers meeting will be at 5:00PM Sharp and all drivers must be in their full race gear.
Race format: Hot laps will be starting at 5:45. Racing will consist of 3 Heats, (Maximum of 10 laps per heat and maximum of 12 cars per heat) finishing with a 25 lap feature race. Rookies ROF for ALL heats.
Trophies: Albany Speedway will supply trophies for top 3 finishes. ALL competitors are expected to attend the trophy presentation at the conclusion of the race meeting.
Camping: Drivers and their crew will be able to camp at the track for the night. Please remember that you are representing the club, remember the Code of Conduct. Please leave the pit area the way you found it (clean and tidy with NO rubbish left) Drunken and anti-social behavior will not be tolerated by WSWA, fines and/or suspension may be enforced.
