2015 Ellenbrook State Title – Our top 5 Club Championship Points
With the WA state title only a week away we thought that it would be a good time to have a look at some of the contenders based on the top 5 in our championship points. Today we will be kicking things off with our number 5, W17 Brad "Fireworks" Taylor
Although Brad is yet to see a podium finish this year he has consistently been in the top 10 and if not for some unfortunate luck with car breakdowns, we may have seen him finishing higher in the points. In his last four feature starts he has finished with a fourth, two DNF and another fourth.
Last years state title saw Brad qualifying 6th for the top 8 shootout and running in the top 5 for most of the feature before an incident saw him spin, restarting him at ROF.
With good qualifying at both Collie and Moora this year it is suggested that the small tracks suit Brad and puts him in with a good chance to light up the track again at Ellenbrook for this year’s title.
